Casbarian Engineering Associates LLC (CEA) was formed in early 2004 as an outgrowth of Petro-Marine/BCI Engineering Inc. (PMBCI). This latter company was formed as a merger between Perto-Marine Engineering Inc. founded in 1962 and Barnett and Casbarian Inc., founded in 1980, both aquired by Saipem Inc. in 2001. With PMBCI’s decision to withdraw from the U.S. Market, all projects and contracts were assigned to CEA effective May 1, 2004. CEA also aquired all fixed assets of the New Orleans office.

The present CEA organization staff and technical expertise are a combination of the staffs of Petro-Marine Engineering Inc. and Barnett and Casbarian Inc. Thus the experience gained by these two companies lives on in Casbarian Engineering Associates LLC. With offices in New Orleans and Houston, CEA continues to provide Engineering, Procurement, Project Management, Marine Consulting and Marine Warranty Surveying to the International and Domestic Oil and Gas Industries.

CEA’s team of professionals includes engineers, naval architects, construction superintendents, designers and drafters. Our goal is to provide cost effective and innovative designs and technical solutions to our clients, with a continued commitments to excellence in these services.
